Gonna be very interesting to see how Columbus starts the third. Either on fire full steam or in shock about what just happened.

If Anderson doesn't return and McAvoy obviously will this game that's even bigger than the penalty itself.
 
It’s on Columbus now, they got the PP and momtenum, if they can’t capitalize on it, then it wasn’t meant to be. Still should be a 5 min PP. But this is starting to get into NFL bad reffing.

I am not even a Columbus fan, and I’m annoyed from that call, and want to see them win now, if the team is not motivated after this, then have to really question the leadership in that room.

Leadership doesn't put the puck in the net unfortunately
 
These "in game" penalties and non or minimal penalties on these type of hits have GOT TO BE RIGHT. Every bit as important as getting a goal called correctly. The help from Toronto OR usage of tablet by referees IS ESSENTIAL. Just ask the LVK's if Pavelski call had anything to do with them watching like we are.
McAvoy would be a big loss NOW. Might not be a 7th game, a lot of good sitting McAvoy next game will do for the Jackets. Needed to be a 5 and a game misc. PERIOD, local boy or no.
 
Would like to add.....bad calls like that can really promulgate retaliation if the "right" situation comes along. Hope Jackets somehow get a comfy 2 goal lead......then crush the little rat Marchand or Pastaprick.
 
Just look how Boston rallied around Bergeron on poor Lias and that was NOTHING in comparison. So......Boston should get their baked beans handed to them. BURNT. What is good for the goose......
