Dallas' uniforms are starting to annoy me. They're nothing more than the green version of the Hawks'.

Modern TV's are also bad at 450-570nm due to mostly cold [broadcast] and warm [DVD] demand from plebs starring at screens in torch mode on a Walmart wall. It doesn't help alleviate the eye issues with Dallas' Guacamole colored sweaters.

Defending Marc Staal -AND- the giveaway stat all in the same post? Probably an all time first for that.

I don't hate Staal at all, but I guarantee he gave the puck away more than any other defenseman on the team. The stat sucks and Staal, at this point, should be sitting in the press box as a 7th D.

Actually he did. He gave up 5 goals in games 3 and 4 (granted he was injured). Unfortunately, Lundqvist had back to back 6 goal games including a 6-5 OT loss. Lundqvist finished the series with a .902 save percentage and a 3.03 GAA.

They got him locked up for 3.75 million for another 3 years. Good deal. Is a very solid middle six forward. They may be regretting that Wennberg contract. Dude is nearly a 5 million cap hit and had 25 points in 75 games this past season. Yikes.

This has been one of the best playoffs I can recall in terms of injury impact. Most teams have been minimally or not at all affected by important players out, even on day-to-day.
It gives a person a chance to see the teams operating under pressure with the roster they want to ice.
