Around the NHL: Part We Get Literally No Help

It seems like a lot of Oilers fans are on Jordan Eberle's case. Not a big trade proposal guy but maybe they'd take a deal around Girardi, Miller and a pick for him. Gives them a top pairing defenseman and top prospect that makes them deeper down the middle. The Rangers get a winger with top line potential that's already had a 75 point year. Torts can straighten out his defensive game and we'll have a winger to play with Stepan and Nash, or put on the 2nd line to play with Richards and make the offense a lot deeper as a whole.

Is this deal at least a bit realistic?

Edmonton would have to add

But FENWICK!

Puck possession usually helps. You have to do something with the puck though.

Over an 82 game season, the Devils make the playoffs most likely. They literally have no puckluck going for them the past two months.

The funny thing is I actually like Steve, the play by play guy. But Chico makes the entire broadcast unbearable.

Steve's OK. Probably has more of a radio voice, but yeah, he's OK. Chico sounds like your typical drunk cousin.

Haha. Devils with chance after chance.

To be honest, the lower bowl has been full this year at MSG. It just isn't full at the start of the game because they are late or they are in those suites.

Yeah, it's definitely been better this year. I see Toronto is filling up by now. Two most valuable franchises. Go figure.

Leafs to the PP. WOW what a sell by Grabovski.

I can't really hate on Chico. He's a good guy. He might be a raging homer and a dumbass, but he seems like one of the nicest, kindest people around.

It's because these two teams can charge anything they want for the premium seats, and they will always be bought up by huge corporations. Personally, I would rather sit up top any day of the week. Who wants to be that close when you can't see down the other end of the ice due to glass obstruction!!

Leafs rated # 6 in the Power Rankings today...that is a huge improvement over last season . We were lucky to get that needed split !

They're red hot, something like 9-1-4 in their last 14. They're a good hockey team, they've been my cup darkhorse for awhile. They could really go far with Kessel getting hot.

Yeah, I have season tix in the lower bowl, but would "downgrade" any day of the week. Center of the upper bowl seems like he best seats you can get.

I got to sit in the third row in the last game against the Leafs for the third period until the end of the game. Right behind Hank. it was pretty awesome.

sitting down low low is a nice experience but put me in the 300s any day (not sure what they look like now since I haven't been to a game this season yet though).

"You don't know where the goal will come from. It could come from a winger, a center, a defenseman."

Great analysis by Chico.

Leafs might be the only club that can match up to Pens in scoring dept ...but they have some trouble stopping them at times...I actually also like them as a dark horse pick...I definitely would sooner play the Habs any day over them even with our pathetic record against the Habs as of late . There is absolutely no reason why we cannot handle the Habs...it is all mental IMO .

Phaneuf and Reimer are carrying that team. Sad thing is that the hockey world in general think these two are overrated/overpaid players. Phaneuf has been pretty much on par with Shea Weber this season.

I think Phaneuf has carried their defense - he's needed to, they have a bit of a suspect defensive corp.

What really impresses me about the Leafs is their forward depth. They have a bunch of lines that can score on any given shift and their checking forwards are top notch. Leo Komarov is such a good pest.
