I love the 90s style "doink doink" sound effect every time they announce who scored and assisted on a Sharks goal...

17 shoot outs lost in a row, 3 shoot out goals in that stretch

And Chico is complaining about the spin-o-rama because in his eyes the players (yes, 2nd and 3rd were similar) stopped completely... Pfff

its like the devils organization and fans still didnt know that spinarama move is an exception the NHL allows in the shootout.

After 5 minutes of kvetching about Bailey's goal, Chico says he does not want to dwell on it.
Chico is amateur hour.

Sure, that kind of goal by Bailey should be banned, I agree. But,his skates were moving, he definitely had not really stopped or skated backwards.
A completely unexciting goal, but I'm 100% in favour of not having the shootout anyway.

At least no one can say the Devils aren't consistently good at something.

Montreal's going to want to beat us tomorrow. Personally I don't like that idea. It's all about home ice for them in the first round of the playoffs.

The Rangers can't move up or down now in the standings. Wondering if Haggerty finally gets into the lineup.

Hahah Marty got trolled in the shootout..... How professional of him to fire the puck at Bailey in frustration.....

Did you guys see how they mentioned that Chico is retiring after this season?

NHL rules:

The spin-o-rama type move where the player completes a 360° turn as he approaches the goal, shall be permitted as this involves continuous motion.

Hilarious that Brodeur flipped his **** god I love it

Anyway for the most part the Devils board is livid about the two spin-o-ramas. Fine take the two goals away and they still lose in the shootout 1-0. I mean WTF!--the result is the same. They need to get over the fact that their best players are ancient and their team sucks.

Brunner scored it'd have been 1-1 but spin-o-rama's are completely legal

"The spin-o-rama type move where the player completes a 360-degree turn as he approaches the goal, shall be permitted as this involves continuous motion. However, should the puck come to a complete stop at any time during the shot attempt, the shot shall be stopped and no goal will be the result."

I misunderstood the rule. It is about he puck movement and not the shooter's movement.

Player movement is not the focus. The literal interpretation of the rule would suggest it does not matter.
I didn't think Bailey stopped or reversed his movement, anyway.
