I heard them call that name earlier, and I said who the f is that?

I think he was the player they were talking about in the Leafs series... undrafted.. went to ECHL to AHL .. back to ECHL back to AHL and now NHL

Is that 3 or 4 too many men penalties for boston in 8 games? They're certainly making a deliberate choice of pushing the envelope on line changes.

They should have gotten one in game 7, but seemed to know the refs would be loath to call it.

f***ing Swayman.
He was drafted #111 by the Boston Bruins in the 2017 draft. Who was selected #110? Goaltender Ian Scott who retired at age 23 due to multiple injuries...by the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The Leafs screwed themselves again

They didn't really screw themselves, they just got unlucky. Ian Scott was a good pick and might've been just as good as Swayman, if not better. Hard to account for injuries.

Hard to imagine him better. Swayman might be the best goalie in NHL right now.

At the time maybe, but looking in hindsight it's still comical how little luck that franchise has. Everything they touch falls apart.

It could be worse. They could have drafted Kisakov in the 2nd round (2021) instead of Knies.

If we don’t win (we won’t) I hope Columbus does. Those poor bastards can’t catch a break
