If Pitt wins,Pitt and Ottawa in 2nd round.

In that scenario,winner of Rangers-Caps and winner of Bruins-Leafs will face off in the 2nd round.

Chicago and SJ advanced. LA and ANA are leading their series 3-2. Say both of them win.

Its Chicago-SJ and the two southern California teams in the 2nd round.

If the Wings come back and win,Chicago will face Detroit.

Highest seed faced the lowest seed. Chicago is #1. Detroit is #7. SJ is #6. The Hawks are facing either the Sharks or Wings.
 
I think the hawks will destroy nearly any enemy in WC ...

THe only team which was not beaten by chicago this season is anaheim.. hopefully ANA - CHI will face each other in WCF .. with Anaheim going to SCF.
 
There's a chance the Rangers get home ice in the CF. If the Isles win the Rangers get home ice in the 2nd.

Short postseason for Van, Min, Mon and possibly Tor.

Friggin Canadian teams. They won seven straight Cups from 84 to 90 and another in 93.

20 years since a team from the country with good beer and better strip joints won a Cup.

Woe Canada.
 
If the Isles are unsatisfied with Nabokov, I hear there might be a former Cup-winning goalie who could be available this off-season. And, he's still relatively young.

I think the next round in the Western Conference will be awesome if both Anaheim and LA win their current respective series. Hawks-Sharks and Ducks-Kings are both potentially excellent matchups.

Yep, Sharks on home-ice are just great this season.
I think CHI will win this matchup in 6 ..

LA was not an easy opponent for Anaheim this season.. we'll see
 
Lots of Canadian voters picked Crosby for the Hart. Left Bob off entirely.

Crosby winning would set a precedent. Missed 25 pct of season and no scoring awards.

NHL is comfortable with where it's at. East coast and on their poster boys. Just gotta get Stamkos in there somehow...
 
Mine would be OV, Bob and Toews. Crosby 4 and JT 5. Getzlaf being 5th is a joke. Subban, Kane and Henrik are more deserving than Getzlaf if value is the determining factor.
 
Tavares overrating continues.

For apparently being the second best player in the league, one should probably be over a PPG player, and have at least some sort of defensive play
 
A lot of people obviously don't watch Toews. Best two-way player in the game.

Crosby shouldn't be on the list. Friggin sympathy vote and Canadian love affair from that stupid goal still lingers.
 
Watching all the videos of Crosby's goal last night and you mean to tell me he could do that, but he couldn't stay on his feet in Game 3....

He did that against Thomas Hickey. I doubt he does that to a competent defenseman.

I thought Toews was the lone lock for Hart finalist. Guess that shows how much I know. My finalists were Toews, Tavares and Ovechkin. Had Columbus made the playoffs, Bobrovsky and would have had to consider whether to eliminate Tavares or Ovechkin.

Sidney Crosby was tied for the 3rd in the NHL in scoring despite having played 12 fewer games than alll the players around him.

He was on pace to have a 75 point season...15 points more than anyone else.

He ABSOLUTELY deserves to be nominated, and if he didn't get hurt he would have run away with it. As such you'd have to give it to AO right now, but Crosby should be right up there in the conversation.
