No Vokoun, conceivably no getting past the Islanders for the Pengies. They are thanking their lucky stars that it does not all hang on the sieve Fleury.

If Pitt wins the cup this year, you can say goodbye to MAF in that city. They'll lock up Vokoun, ship MAF to Toronto, and grab a youngster to be groomed.

MAF likely amnestied after next year, they probably give him another year. Then when FA rolls around, the Penguins will sign Lundqvist and Rangers will stick to Fleury. Book it.

Nope. While I don't see it necessary of Hank to stay here (I wouldn't be mad, he deserves a ring), his loyalty to this organization and the fans runs too deep to sign in Pittsburgh. No way he signs in Pittsburgh, or anywhere else in the Atlantic for that matter. I couldn't even see him signing anywhere in the East. Go to Chicago, build a dynasty.

Meh, I see Hank as a competitor and more as a guy who'd rather win at all costs than stay loyal. I would not be upset if he left for Pittsburgh/NJ/NYI/Philadelphia as a FA, but he'd be serenaded with boos in MSG for sure.

He just seems very loyal to this city, the team, and the fans. Hank is a world class goaltender, but an ever better person. You can tell from all of his interviews, he doesn't just say it to say it. He loves his life here. For that alone I could see him staying in New York forever. I just don't see this man signing in the Atlantic. He doesn't have the nerve to do it. He loves this city too much.

Of course Lundqvist does not want to leave the Rangers.

More importantly, Fleury is not a top draw any longer. He is not elite. Why would NYR want him?

Aww Sens GM Brian Murray was so emotional after the win. Made me feel a bit teary eyed.

I see him as a loyal type. But if he were to leave, especially to a division winner I wouldn't boo him.
