Oh good, just what everyone's been clamboring for... MORE video review. This won't slow the game down and open a whole new can of worms at all. Nope, everything's fine. Ugh.
Those are some of the most easily over-turned calls to review. I don't think it should take long. With the types of reviewable calls being expanded, coaches should get one more per game. With officiating the way it is, this seems reasonable because it's not getting better and we don't want a @#$% call in the playoffs to make the league look worse than it already does.

I would be in favor of video review if the NHL wasn’t so terrible at it. Either have an off-ice ref/official in the building or Toronto do the review and phone in the result. If it takes longer than 90 seconds, the call on the ice stands.

Not only should refs not be trusted to overturn their own bad calls, but those goofballs staring at a tiny iPad along the boards is farcical.

ya im sure they wont spend 5 minutes deciding if a puck glanced off the edge of a jersey or if it was just motion blur

none of this fixes the actual issues with reffing, its not a penalty in the first period if your team is leading and doesnt complain a lot, it is a penalty if you dont actually touch a guy and he toe picks if the refs dont like you, it isnt a penalty if its a large market team playing on tnt, it is a penalty if you are in the lead by more than a goal, but not a penalty if your owner is friends with the right people, unless those people argued for jerseys on special event nights, unless you also let gary have a photo op during your cancer awerness drives, but its still a penalty if youre benson

f***. I just saw him a couple of weeks ago and was gonna do job on his house for him.

The dirtiest play I've ever seen live was his trip and then slapshot to the head of Dave Babcock of the Thunder back in the '91-92 season. Then he was the guy Nolan was trying to have Sherry Basin broker a deal with from the Avs to the Sabres that was part of why Ted didn't get hired as a HC for a long time - GM's aren't fond of people who actively go behind their backs to try things like this.

If you know the reason why Nolan had such a soft spot for him what he did is very understandable.

I agree with how bad officiating is, but I don't think those call/non-call scenarios are very hard to review. The ones I've seen the last few years look cut and dry. They've been pretty quick on other already reviewable calls lately too (goalie int, for ex).

Looking more and more like the 2nd Wild Card spot is Buffalo’s to lose because the teams ahead of them don’t want it while they have chipped away at the gap.

Detroit ties game with 12 seconds left.. FFS

Hoping Columbus can hold them to a point

Gaudreau hooked clear as day.. No call, then Kane buries OT winner..
