Murray was extremely solid on both cup runs and stole the job to a future HOFer. All that before the end of his rookie season... Far from garanteed the Pens win both Cups without him.

It's not surprising to see human beings being ungrateful. Pens won 3 Cups in the last 13 years (and 2 more in the 90's), they should give their team and its players the benefit of the doubt. Murray ran into injury trouble and it sidetracked his career. Their fans lost their patience with him. happens all the time with athletes. Karlsson would be blasted by Sens fans today if he was still here with that contract.
