Toews sure got away with one there to get that sequence started, but I think that's what players need to do -- take a risk and hope the refs will let it go. Makes a big difference.

A couple reasons

1- Terrible coaching (Kompon is terrible as was Kitchen last year ,, Q BFF's both suck at PP)

2)- Not simple... Hawks for some odd reason rather like to waste 1:30 for pretty play instead of just keeping things simple

3) Only Hjalmarsson , Seabrook and Leddy have good shots and Hammer never gets PP time while Leddy refuses to shoot. Seabrook can fire as well but also doesn't get enough PP time or take chance to shoot

4) No real size to put in front for screen... Bickell doesn't get PP time (Stupid) and Stalberg is soft as hell while Shaw tends to stand next to goalie not in front

Oh and to show how stupid our coaches are.. Bickell is not on either PP unit despite his size , shot and hands being exactly what Hawks PP needs

Torts refused to put McD on the PP until the end of the playoffs.
