Carolina may come to regret resting so many stars and allowing Habs easy path to playoffs. They would potentially meet in 2nd round.

Sadly that's pretty much the take on Sportsnet tonight. They were already picking Montreal to make a run and the game was still tied.
If Chicago manages to get David Carle to coach that roster they’re building, that team will be dominant for a while. Meanwhile the Preds are content with whatever this is.
I sure would enjoy the Schadenfreude of Detroit missing again if we werent staring into the abyss that they are currently falling down..
At least Detroit has some young talent that actually gets to play…

Suter went splat really early. Was struggling who to root for until I remembered he played for St. Louis so that decision became real easy.
The speed of this game is like watching hockey at 2x speed compared to the slow old guys we've watched all season.

Biggest concern if you are Winnipeg right now, Hellebuyck has been beaten high glove both times and had plenty of time to be in position and get set to make the stops. Just flat got beat.
