One of the perils of the true "tank rebuild"Man Bedard is just invisible out there. He was dangerous last year but his confidence is just fried.
Could care less about the most prestigious record in hockey, interestingCould care less about Ovie breaking the goals record more interested in a Caps loss
Chicago is in our division so I’m not cheering for them to get good, but it sure would suck for Bedard is they turned into Buffalo for the next decade. One of the perils of the true "tank rebuild"
Interesting, not really I don't care for Ovechkin or Gretzky for that matter.Could care less about the most prestigious record in hockey, interesting
Well there you go he should of been on their roster from the beginning of the season![]()
I'd say the points record is far more prestigious. Especially considering how absolutely insane Gretzky's total is, you could take away all his goals and he'd still be first.Could care less about the most prestigious record in hockey, interesting
I wouldn't. Also place Ovi in that time and he's going to score 20 goals a game. No comparison at all.I'd say the points record is far more prestigious. Especially considering how absolutely insane Gretzky's total is, you could take away all his goals and he'd still be first.
Wayne never won again after being traded from the oilersCongratulations to Ovi.
Not my favourite player as I tend not to like one dimensional players, but he does his one thing very well.
Ovechkin during his entire career has been on the ice for 65 more goals than he has been on the ice when being scored on. +65.
Greyzky’s number is +612.
I think that puts things in perspective.
This is all semantics and random opinions but 20 goals a game is so out to lunch. If it was so easy to get goals and points in Gretzky's era than why is his totals so far and away more than anyone elseI wouldn't. Also place Ovi in that time and he's going to score 20 goals a game. It wasn't easy all but the game has evolved. 26 years since Wayne retired, those goalies wouldnt even be considered emergency backups in this age. Skill comparison. It's crazy to think about, I personally think hockey of all the major sports has evolved the most in this time. This is all semantics and random opinions but 20 goals a game is so out to lunch. It also appears that Bedard may be resisting making the types of changes to his game that will make his team better, so some of the blame is on himChicago is in our division so I’m not cheering for them to get good, but it sure would suck for Bedard is they turned into Buffalo for the next decade.
Not with a Sherwood, Christian or Koho. No whip, he'd probably miss the net regularly, like all good shooters did back then. I can't even think of a good one timer player, historically, until Brett Hull, with the sticks starting to change.I wouldn't. Also place Ovi in that time and he's going to score 20 goals a game.
