Around the NHL 2024 25

Who knows where we finish and who we play....

Dallas is hot and has the easier schedule... can see them finishing 1st in the Division now

St. Louis is even hotter, and don't look now, they are only 5 points behind the Avs. St.L should win Thursday, Colorado plays Columbus who's fighting for a wild card., and on Sat St.L plays the Avs, So it's not impossible for the Blues to get 3rd in the Division with some luck..

Making for a pretty entertaining end to the season. Honestly, there is only one match up in the West division that isn’t ugly in the first round. The Wild don’t seem to be at the same level as the other playoff teams as of late at least. Winnipeg, Dallas, and Colorado are all top notch teams. The Blues are the hottest team in the NHL, out west we have Vegas that is always at the top, LA who might be the worst match up for us, then the Oilers who went to game 7 of the cup last year.

Yes it would be nice to face Minnesota in the first round but boy is the West tough this year.

One game at a time ps its all about the journey right……..right? :sarcasm:

Don’t you say that every year?

Have a feeling that there is going to be more than a few upsets in the playoffs this year. So many teams evenly matched despite the points difference are going to make the first round unpredictable.
Agreed, we have a playoffs draft coming up in 2 weeks and as of right now i don't know who i would pick if i got the 1st overall pick. Doesn't matter though i have been in the draft for years and have never gotten the 1st overall pick, playoffs or regular season . Cheating bastards .:laugh:

In CAD terms, it looks like a big increase: +$4.1B CAD inflation adjusted.
In USD terms, it looks more modest: +$1.0B USD inflation and exchange adjusted.

I thought Sportsnet was losing money (or breaking even at best) on the old deal. Well, at least everyone thinks they're doing a terrible job...
Speaking of CAD to USD:

People have forgotten how bad things were before the bad orange guy came in. It's convenient that politicians have him to blame for everything though, especially with the election coming up

We're being gaslit in real time
Give it a couple more months. The stocks just started to fall.
