Around the NHL 2024/25

  • Xenforo Cloud is doing server maintenance Thurdsay 13th at 9 AM GMT. Downtime is to be expected during the process. Server changes were implemented recently to cope with the traffic surge last week. This seems to be affecting the user login, so please anyone experiencing this, log out and clear the browser cache. We expect to have this issue solved once the maintenance is complete.
  • We are currently aware of "log in/security error" issues that are affecting some users. We apologize and ask for your patience as we try to get these issues fixed.
If the Jets signed Samberg to a two year deal this summer and then traded him at the deadline next year for two late firsts, you would think that Chevy did a great job?
If samberg is refusing to sign a long term deal.
2 1sts, Stankoven, 2 3rds as a return.
Are you expecting more than that?

I'd say it's much closer to Ehlers and Barron than Samberg.

Say we trade Ehlers and Barron two years ago for a similar package is that worth it? In a vacuum it's good value but it doesn't help us win now. Carolina has been on the cusp for awhile and they just traded away two roster players for Stankoven and futures. Granted they can try and flip those assets now for help this off season but it sets them back a bit.

If we're a true championship team, we shouldn't be talking about ducking teams in the first round

I'd love to get revenge on the Avs and knock them out if we happen to fall to 2nd in the central

If we can't beat them, we ARE frauds
True, but playing a lesser team in the first round might help the team get is mojo going.

Then if the Avs can do us a solid and knock out the stars that sets us up nicely. They're the team that worries me.

Finally, if the Oilers can knock out the Knights. That would be another sweet revenge serious but they seem to have our number.

Times have changed. Yelling at an employee is now considered "workplace violence" at my place of employ. FWIW I haven't yelled at anyone that is under my management. I've wanted to but it's not helpful.
I remember working road construction where your right of passage was challenging the mechanic to a fight in order to gain his respect haha

Is there some kind of psychotic indoctrination you have to go through to become a Habs fan? My buddy just told me that the Habs should go after Connor Bedard this off season, and that he'd be willing to give a 26 and 27 first round pick.

Like, what?
The Habs' Sam Pollock basically rigged the original 1967 expansion rules in Montreal's favor. So Montreal fans have a long standing bias towards everything being tilted their way.

No, no. Not at all. Habs fans are completely normal people. Welcoming, rational and friendly.
