Shoulder surgery is an ugly mess.
I went through a massive rotator cuff repair 13 months ago.... everyone told me how much the recovery and rehab sucked, and it certainly was as bad as advertised

That said, I was diligent with rehab and I'm now stronger than I was before. I'm in my late 40s, and these young guys can heal a lot quicker and better than I did

For that reason, I'd be looking at taking on a gy like Josh Norris as a potential "buy low" guy. He could be the next Sam Bennet, who went through his own shoulder issues

How long do you think it would take Norris till he started playing again?

He's in the line up now. 1G 1A last night

The problem is the time he's missed in the past... he missed all of Feb, though I'm not sure if it's the same injury or a different one

I guess for every Sam Bennett, there's a Chaz Lucius. That's the risk you're taking

This Washington team is really good.

and

what happened to Vancouver?

They are not even top 5 Canada team now…?

I guess I have to cheer for the Oilers and Leafs tonite. A painful compromise, no doubt.
I think we should prefer the Avs winning to stay ahead of the Wild. We want a Dallas-Colorado 1st round series.

The Oilers have been pretty bad since the break, so we're probably going to have to settle for the consolation prize of watching them lose.

Caps have 8 games remaining against quality (playoff) opponents. Jets have 10. Granted, 2 of those are against Vancouver, so might as well just disavow them. Going to come down to the wire for President's trophy. Jets have all the tie breakers in their favour if they win their next meeting. Jets should be their runaway favourite for the Western Conference champs though. Man, I wish Washington would stop winning decisively. Just got to take care of our own business. This team hasn't faltered post-ASG Break like they have in the past, so I feel different about this year.
