I don't think that's entirely fair to Seth Jones.

Sure he wasn't part of the solution in Chicago but if you're a guy who wants to win and it's the same shit show year in and year out, I understand the frustration.

He also put his comment as diplomatically as he could. Don't we want more honesty from players?

As for the contract, I guess we will see if he earns it on a real team in Florida.

That said, the Hawks get a goalie that matches their rebuild timeline. I'm curious to see how the move forward now that they've moved Hall and Jones. Bedard isn't growing his game into a pro-style that he needs to in order to become the player ha can be. It's starting to look like the Oilers back in the Hall/Eberle days

They need to get him some actual role models. That seems to be one thing San Jose has done better for their rebuild.
