Nah he wouldn’t be a macho dumb hockey player if he didn’t man up here and remain silent. If you want to be part of the players they seem to have a weird code on this topic.
That’s why I tune out the concussion issues.
Until the players take it seriously why should the league.
Every player knows it was a deliberate dirty act.
You get what you give.

Necas with 2 g, 1 a, Colorado dusts Flames. The Rantanen trade doesn't look bad for the Avs. Necas is pacing for 90+ this year, he looks like Hejduk playing with Sakic.
Id still prefer him to Rantanen - him with Mak and rosy cheeks were such a load to handle and imo the Avs really fed off their shifts.

Check out Laine's last five games. Especially that ice time. Yikes.

Like, averaging less than a shot a goal per game? What is he even out there for?

I haven't watched him a lot but in the games I've seen he's such a f***ing low effort liability out there. It's almost like the Habs are shorthanded out there when he's on the ice.

Happier in the sense that the Avs will do worse (Schadenfreude version).

or

Happier that with Necas the Avs are better as a team (true joy version).

Either is fine with me, not that anyone asked.

Hockey content: Did anyone notice how calm Ehlers was during Sawyer's interview? He just scored a goal, put in a mighty shift, comes off the ice, and isn't sweating. Looks like he's ready to give a seminar on recipes for Brunsviger.

It's those short shifts. Fella's so fresh and well rested he could pop into another team's game, play another dozen 25s-long Ehlersschiften, and still have time to read a little Kierkegaard in bed.
