Piss on Hartman and the horse he rode in on.
Don’t throw the horse out with the piss water:sarcasm:
That was incredibly dangerous and beyond stupid.

Good ol' Mike Russo.

Expect a long, expletive-filled rant defending Hartman any second now.

Somewhere between "I didn't see it but someone said that Harts slipped and accidentally took Stutzle's head with him" to the well-worn "Harts was just responding to that incredibly dirty play that some guy from some team pulled on Krill that time, that the refs claimed not to see."

Hartman is a longtime rat, with a rat's future. With his record of suspensions and suspensions that might have been, another suspension won't help but can't hurt.

OTOH, maybe this all starts with Cole Perfetti? @AskMinnesotaMike
Russo is a legend in his own mind

So, it should be 5 games minimum, because it's in person hearing.

Won't surprise me if it's much more than five. But it absolutely boils my blood the talk is five games for this obvious intent from a POS who has a bad past and Scheif got four PLAYOFF games as a first time offender for what was a debatable charging, for hitting a guy with the puck who was skating with his head down.

I’m really watching closely Helly’s stats

If gets to
50 wins
0.925 svpct
2.00 gaa

at the end of the season
and the Jets is top 2 team

He should be the Hart Trophy winner
more than
Draistl
Mckinnon

Those two are great players but
all for Helly!!!

Also scoreboard watching now for

Connor 100 points
its doable right?

then goals total by Connor and Schiefele

The Habs have gone into the tank and the bloom is off the Laine rose, 10 minutes today and Habs fans calling him lazy.

The problem is Patrik does give off the vibe of being lazy at times and I think some of it is stylistic. If his shot isn’t working then the Jackals will have lots of red meat. It’s always about expectations with Laine, he started off like a house on fire in Montreal on the PP and ingited the fan base but there are always going to be ebbs and flows with goal scorers and when he’s fighting it its not pretty.

Welcome to moping Laine Montreal, it’s all part of the same complicated individual. The highs are great and the lows are ugly.

If i was head of player safety...
So Ryan what happened?
Ryan : I slipped and he slipped and i landed sort of on his head
Me:
Ryan : laughing back with me because i'm laughing so hard
Me: Ok so that's it?
Ryan : Yeah it was actually his fault because he slipped.
Me : Ok, and i stand up to leave
Ryan : Hey does that mean all i get is a fine?
Me : Laughing, f*** no you are suspended for the rest of the regular season you dumb shit .

I watched the game yesterday (my habs fan friend is in town ugh) and Laine deserved the benching. The guy puts zero effort in.

His body language is the worst when he's not producing shots. The good news is we know its always someone else's fault. Next stage is his Laineiac loyalists will start bitching about his usage and line mates on Montreal's forum pages. They will refuse allocate even an ounce of blame for Laine's funk to Laine.

I remember some of our fans thought it might be good to have him back. That would have been a really bad idea.

It was only a matter of time for this version of Laine to show up. It's unfortunate as the guy has all the skills he needs to be a real impact player if he put forward the required effort level consistently.

This is the issue with one dimensional scorers prone to floating. They bring nothing to the table when the pucks aren't going in and in many cases are liabilities.
