Nah, but I don’t feel like they lost it as bad as some seem to think.

Chytil is a decent piece coming back and should get a nice bump in boxcar stats assuming he eventually slots in on the Canucks PP1 unit.

JT Miller gives me bad vibes and strikes me as a guy the Canucks room will be happy to see go. I can only go on interviews and body language during games, but boy he gives off some shitty and negative energy.

I think if the Canucks can pop off a good defenseman with an extra 1st now, like they did with Hronek, after trading Horvat, they might have a chance of improving.

Or if they tank short term can suddenly trade Boeser for another 1st and be in a good position at the draft table in the summer to make some significant improvements.

Canucks fans disappointed at the return for Miller but I think they did okay. Got rid of the dressing room tension.Got Younger players that have potential. Freed up cap space to make another move depending if they are in playoffs

Like many others have done with various topics, I was skeptical of what we were being told Wasatch meant. So with the vast knowledge base of the Internet at my disposal, I decided to do some "due diligence" and performed my own "in depth research" on the matter. I came up with the following fact which I know to be true because it sounded very much in line with my pre-conceived notions.

Millions recognize the majestic Wasatch Mountains towering over Salt Lake City, the host for the 2002 Winter Olympics. Yet, few are aware of the origin of name "Wasatch" or its real meaning.

The Wasatch Mountain Range got its name from the Paiute Indians, which lived near the mountains long before Mormon settlers arrived in the 19th Century. The Mormon pioneers adopted the Paiute word "Wasatch" as the name for the mountains. But what does Wasatch really mean? According to Utah Native-American expert LaVan Martineau, the word "Wasatch" means frozen penis!

On page 186 of Martineau's well-researched book on Utah Indian legends, lore and language he records:

"Wasatch -- the name comes from the Paiute and Ute Indian phrase pronounced Wuhu'Seai, meaning Frozen Penis. Archie Rogers of [the Shivwit Indian Band] tells the following story about the origin of this name: "The Utes told me what the word 'Wasatch' means. They said that one time many Indians lived there between Heber and Provo. One day the men were out hunting when a big blizzard came up and they lost one of the hunters. When they found him he was dead and his penis was frozen stiff. they therefore called the place Wuhu' Seai Frozen Penis.

Now you know.

And I thought only @BarnabyJonesPI did the sleuthing around here... It looks like you could be on to something as Utah has removed "Wasatch" from their voting...
