Ah, the good old days of walking it off.....Thanks. Some internal chemistry sounds more promising than a lump under the sheet. I get instant relief by walking it off. Unfortunately it has already dragged me out of bed by then. Very annoying way to be wakened from a deep sleep.

The only cramp you can’t walk off is the cardiac type.I may try it, if it becomes necessary. But for now what I need is prevention. I just need to put weight on it for a few steps to get relief.
Drinking lots of water has reduced the problem quite a bit. But that tends to bring other issues. Bottom line is just as my doctor tells me. I'm old. Thanks Doc.
