Would be a great story but i can't see it happening.

Father time was already catching up with him before all the Covid stuff hit. I would be absolutely over the moon if he made a successful comeback with the Jets, but I'm not sure his older legs would keep up anymore. He wasn't the fastest guy when he was younger either.

Rangers season is going well. Trouba might be happy to get out of that mess.

I think he should just focus on a full healthy life after hockey. Caressing all that $$$ is a nice way to do it.

It's worth noting that they played their #3 goalie against Minnesota for the victory, the one who was called up when Forsberg went down, and won a game in Vancouver on their streak. And the Jets got their #4 in the back to back, who gave up a couple of soft goals I would say. Maybe a team that saw the Jets as the harder of the two matchups to win?

I like seeing Minnesota starting to falter, and Colorado moving up, because the only first round matchup that I think the Jets should be worried about is the Avs.

Maybe. Ottawa has been hot and I don’t think we were at our best either

NHL is tight league due to the salary cap. The Ducks aren’t great but they pick up about a point a game on average (15-17-4). Montreal are 7-3 in their last 10 games.

There are very few games that are sure things for anyone.
