Can't say I fully understand why the Ducks insist on making Gibson the starter coming back from injury when he's so obviously an inferior goaltender to Dostal.

The clock stops every time they need to move the chains and setup the ball. Every time
Nope not in the NFL but they did admit the ref stopped the clock by mistake and its not reviewable so sorry to all the betters who put money down on Washington.
Weird how Taylor runs for a long TD and drops the ball before the goal line untouched so instead of being up 20-7 ... it changed the game and they lost 31-13.
Who knows maybe those rumors are true ... its scripted.
All I know is anyone who bets now a days has to be insane unless you have an inside track.
I only brought this up because of the 2 men short vs VGK for the final 2 minutes of the Jet game.

I tend to blame incompetence more than conspiracy.

I mean, NHL officiating has always been pretty inconsistent, incompetent and situational. But every once in a while you see something and think...maybe?

So do the right thing and fire incompetence or at least suspend.

Depends on what the issue is. Calling a late iffy penalty or stopping the clock by mistake aren't really things you want to set a precedent about suspending or firing refs for. Just because they're pros doesn't mean they're immune from mistakes. Players constantly make mistakes why are officials supposed to be perfect. Logan Stanley is making $2.5 million over 2 years and he certainly makes several mistakes.

If he's not reliable, thanks for noting. I'm not sure how reliable he is for info. Just putting it out there as it conflicted with people saying Chevy had zero interest.

We

Traded for both Stastny and Schmidt a couple years ago. All situations are different. Just saying.

Those guys weren’t really washed up nor on big contracts though.

There'd have to be a pattern of mess ups

The Rangers are providing some solid entertainment this season. How is the Finnish House Mafia reacting to the Rangers' 2nd overall Finn complaining about his organization? Is it the Rangers turn to face their wrath?
Maybe Avgaard will weigh in
