I for one will enjoy seeing him get run by the likes of Trouba, Rempe, Wilson and Bennett with regularity. Might even get attacked by that bonehead Xhekaj.He is very self confident and that's not necessarily a bad thing

You must not know Mike Sullivan.
I think he makes it because we already lose Lizotte to a concussion and Rust is day to day, but I bet he gets sent down so they can keep Beauvillier up.

Top 4 minutes ... 20+mins today. Nice assist on the first goal and he scored the game winner but what bothers me the most of letting him go was he's a right handed shot and a big defenseman at 6'4" and 208 ... exactly what the Jets needed. I could see if the Jets had a few right handed D-man but they were short on righties.

You are right... led all D in 5v5 icetime and also led all Devils D in Corsi and xGoals. Was the only Devils D above 50% Corsi.

Really don't understand why we didn't get rid of Morrissey/Demelo and run Chisholm/Kovacevic as our top pair.
