Not to mention Marchenko who has been a stud, Fantilli is coming into his own and when Mony comes back they have quite the team indeed, lowkey nasty AF.
Boone Jenner is back too.

Rangers won today (albeit against the Pens) after getting blown out yesterday but I think that's the main competition. Sens don't look that good,

Watching highlights last night, Danton Mateychuk all over the ice. The Jackets might have the best LD in the league with Werenski, Provorov and him, makes you wonder if they don't try to make the playoffs with all the adversity they've been through.
I thought they were already wildcard

Four Nations thread is closed so I'm putting this here. It's a recent quote from Morrissey, explaining why he told the coaches he couldn't play in the "biggest game of (his) life".

“I was beyond disappointed, couldn’t put into words, the feeling of things happening the way it did before the final. Just bad timing, I suppose ...To me, that was the biggest game of my life and I didn’t want to miss that game. It was crushing, but at the same time, when we were at the rink sitting there and things weren’t improving, it would have been selfish of me to go out there and hurt the team."

Contrast this to M Tkachuk, taking up room on the bench that could have been used by another player, conflating his own desires with the best interests of his team.

This is an important distinction and says something about the players but also, arguably, about different cultures. Morrissey's are the words of a mature player who put the team/country first, in words and actions.
