Around the NHL - (2024-25)

Man Connor Zary did a really nasty elbow to the back of Petterssons' head/neck area as a retaliation to a clean hit on Kadri. I remember feeling kinda bad when Helly had that mistimed hit on Zary because he is a younger player and what not, but now not so much after such a blindside cheap shot with the puck in a different area code.

Zary Elbow
yet somehow only got 2 games while Z gets 3 for his. Zary was intentional and retaliatory and on a player not involved in the play. Zary should have gotten more than just 2 games.

Zary Elbow
Yeah that’s really bad- should definitely have gotten more games than zegras’s suspension

I can't believe that the only thing Yzerman did at the deadline was trade Veleno for Mrazek and Craig Smith. I still think they will be a good team eventually, but their chances this season are pretty bleak. I think if they fizzle out the rest of the season, I could see Gibson being a serious target for them (I thought the same thing last offseason). Mrazek (or Talbot) ++ for Gibson should be on the table.

Back-to-back games with 10 minute misconducts for Bedard. Incredibly frustrating sophomore year for him, the Hawks as a whole appear to be a rudderless ship without much of a plan.

The Blue Jackets are slumping so badly, they gave up a goal to Boko Imama, who I didn't even realize was still playing hockey in North America, let alone the NHL.

If only Fantilli had put on more weight during the summer, they wouldn't be 1-for-9, with 16 goals for and 35 against.

And Boeser ?
I think If Hughes was just good, he, EP, Boeser, and Hronek would keep them a middling team who never wins anything but never gets a top draft pick, but Hughes being Hughes will always give them hope as long he’s there
They'd be us
Ya standings wise pretty much, they’d have to sell what they have for picks to match our prospects

they really lucked out getting cutter for drysdale

-4 tonight and every time i see flyers highlights, he's out there when they give up a goal

Still early to tell considering how Drysdale missed about a season and a half of hockey. Right now, Cutter looks like a steal. Then there's the 2025 2nd round pick we sent to Philly that hasn't come to fruition.

Tired of seeing the kings keep winning. But they look great this year and are coming in hot at the right time.

They have full buy in from all the forwards, their back checking and neutral zone gaps by forward as a group are really great

They have lost like 3 or 4 games in regulation at home. Don't remember precise numbers but they're almost unbeatable at home
