my Point is more that we don’t have any close to dominant players and only have a couple guys who could not look out of place at a best on best tournament.

I wasn’t writing a dissertation, just an observation on a Saturday night….

The key to victory in these games is a really tight defense, and that is the polar opposite of Bouchard's game. He would get absolutely walked by these guys. I also think Hyman would be a non-factor, he is not a self-sufficient player like Terry is.

I much like this choice than Atlanta. New Orleans has only 2 pro franchises with one in each of the NBA and NFL and its time they get another.

I don't like the idea of another expansion so soon but by the time the expansion draft would come I guess the Ducks go 7-3-1
Carlsson/Zegras/McTavish/Sennecke/Terry/2025 pick/ + 1 other forward, the Dmen: Mintyukov/LaCombe/Zellweger and Dostal. Probably lose one of Luneau/Helleson/Sjolberg. Of course things could change and they protect Luneau or Sjolberg over Zellweger.

if they do one of these tourneys again, they need to shorten it. almost 2 weeks without nhl hockey in the middle of the season f***ing sucks. completely kills any momentum a team might have. maybe if we had anyone from our team actually playing meaningful games I would care more, but my god I want this tourney to be over with so nhl games can start.

Totally agree but I think in this case it worked out favourably for us as we had Terry and gudas out from illness before the break so this should have given our roster time to get back to 100%
