Around the NHL 2024 25 Season

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
Do you by chance know if he’s allowed to practice with the team during the suspension or will he have to skate on his own?

If the Tkachuk injury is just LTIR scamming and he’ll be 100% come playoffs too the Panthers ought to be well rested for another push
Players can start practicing with the team and doing team activities other than games when there is 10 days left in the suspension.

So if the playoffs start on April 19, and the Panthers play the 19th and 21st... Ekblad could rejoin the team on Saturday the 12th.

I doubt this, he missed the last two Four Nations games (well played a period each) with what looked like a groin injury and from experience they aren't the quickest to heal/can be reaggravated quite easily. Even if he starts game 1 of the playoffs, we'll see how healthy he actually is.

What I've never understood is Pinto gets hyped up and Cozens gets shit on... but Cozens even in a down year on a worse team, was outproducing Pinto

Cozens being shat on probably originated with the GMs who wanted him in the hopes that it would lower his market value lol

So much for signing Quick in the offseason to let Wolfy pick his brain for a year. Nothing wrong with another year of the Wolfy-Vladdy tandem imho.

Problem is, he can't learn much from a journeyman Vladar is. I think someone like fit Fleury would provide with a better input to his already great young career (and I wasn't a fan at first).. I know Fleury wants to retire after this season but perhaps improving someone as talented as Wolfie could increase his appetite to alter his decision.

Quick is beyond cooked. He’s on the end of some heavy defeats every other start. I wouldn’t even take him over Cooley

Hoping for New Jersey to fall out of PO race....Markstrom been very poor since his injury...anything could happen.
