Well, if EP cancer in the locker room Adams will not trade for it.

The rumors were out there up until now that he isn't competitive enough and that's why Miller was targeting him. Nothing that happens between now and the end of the season should change what people think of EP40, IMO.

Well, that's what I'm talking about, if during the season it turns out that the problem in the Canucks locker room remains and EP is the main character in this drama, Adams won't trade for him. And now I think the Canucks simply won't trade EP, the moment has already passed, we need to look for other options.

I think Adams could still trade for EP40 even if he appears to be a problem in Vancouver.

GMs think their team's culture can fix a lot of stuff with guys with red flags everywhere. That's why guys like EKane and Tony DeAngelo and others keep getting chances in the NHL.

Adams will probably ask Dahlin if he thinks EP40 would be a good fit and go from there. And given the reported interest, I bet Adams has had that conversation with his captain.

Maybe, but I don't believe EP40 will end up in Buffalo anymore.

I looked at Granlund as a potential top 6 C option for us, maybe when he becomes a UFA, there aren't many options there.

would love to get into this third of the league instead of bottom third spenders and bottom third finishes. Because God knows we can’t get into the top half of the standings.

Given that tearing down is always easier than rebuilding, Grier seems to be finding value in taking on salaries/contracts and then flipping them in season. He's divested himself from long term deals where he has been able to. Its a base level of competence as a GM.

I'm trying to figure out which team I'm going to be rooting for in the Four Nations Thing-A-Bob-Thingie.

Finland is going to get run off the ice. Too many dislikes playing for USA.

Cheering for Canada just seems like bandwagon jumping.

Sweden? Meh.

Just no good, fun, teams in this thing. (by "teams" I mean mostly "players".)

It looks like Miller for chytil and Peterson

Dallas gave up s 1st. Seems as biy if an overpay

Eh, Frost isn't really progressing as a player. He's a high sheltered one dimensional player that isn't improving and needs a new contract this summer.

Farabee has shown promise and production, but is owed 5M for the next two years.

This feels like a bigger scale version of the 'hodgson for Kassian' where both teams are just swapping disappointing players.

Different--Hodgson for kassian...they were in neighboring draft yrs on their ELCs.

Mitts/ byram was similar but they were older

On here--Folks wanted to give alot to get farabee


If it was just Frost for pelletier would make some sense of change of scenery trade
