I think the Wild did a really good job here, their future defense potentially looks great with Faber, Buium and Jiricek. It's already good though.

I agree, if you spend those assets on improving the roster, rather than drafting all those picks again, and 24-year-old Johnson continues to play in Rochester.

That’s what I thought on the return Columbus received for Jiricek. On the main board they seem to think Minnesota won the trade at least from the posts that I read.

Is it though? That pick is likely to be in the mid-20's at best. The other picks are a mixed bag but later picks aren't a sure thing. Maybe Hunt turns out to be something, but there is no Yurov, no Ohgren, no Biuim, no Wallstedt... It's a bit of a letdown honestly.
