Former Edmonton Oilers defenceman Oscar Klefbom has announced his retirement from professional hockey. The 31-year-old last played during the 2019-20 season. He was ruled out for the 2020-21 campaign due to a shoulder injury and never played again.

I'm not going to say this is really going to inhibit success, but is Matthews a real leader? I always sort of got the impression Tavares tried, but the kids didn't want to listen.
Maybe with Berube its a fresh start and he'll rise to the occasion, but I'm not totally sold on Berube. Fingers crossed for an implosion

Im guessing Holloway is gone, Edmonton won't let Broberg go.
For a team who is struggling with the cap, I still don't see how Adams had no leverage and was in a worse spot to negotiate.

I'm thinking the exact opposite. At least Holloway's contract is a bit in line with his performance. Broberg would be WAY overpaid for what he's done, and Edmonton needs to watch every penny.

You just don't see the bigger picture, there was no spot on the roster for Savoie, so he gets some development time in Edmonton and when he gets to RFA we get him back per offer sheet.
