Not sure what the social media team is in reference to, but I take it the bus driver is in regards to the team bus backing into Celebrini's Range Rover in the garage after the Sharks game?

I randomly thought about David Rundblad today. The way he got gassed up on the prospects board was nothing short of insane. Almost as bad as Cody Hodgson.

Maybe I'll dig up the main board Turris/Rundblad trade thread for a laugh. I think I pointed out back then that Turris was only 14 months older than Rundblad. Everybody was acting like Turris was this finished product.

Definitely some bad hockeydb stat watching logic with Rundblad in those days. I think the deduction went:

1. Adam Larsson may go #1 at the 2011 Draft.
2. Rundblad and Larsson are on the same team. Rundblad has 50 points. Larsson has 9.
3. Rundblad is therefore worth way more than the #1 pick in the draft

The Rangers don’t have a traveling social media team so when they post video of players arriving to the rink it’s from security footage. The Sharks among others have trolled them doing the same with their players when the Rangers come to town.

Why they aren’t allowed to travel is depending on what rabbit hole rumor you want to believe, there was a reported ‘incident’ with a member of the social media team and a player after a game last year and that can only have like two different connotations lol. It could also just be a conveniently vague excuse to be prudish about their ‘brand’ and cheap with the lower rung staff members

I remember thinking AZ was set for a decade with Turris/Mueller.

I did enjoy a tidbit from this Gare Joyce book when he got to ride shotgun with Columbus for their 2006+2007 Drafts. One of the things they grilled Mueller on during their interview was why he (Minnesota kid) took the abnormal route of playing in the WHL instead of one of the in state colleges. It wasn't a red flag necessarily but Columbus definitely thought it was weird.

I remember in 2013 that it was a bit of a thing when the Avs (who just hired Roy) passed on Duclair who Roy coached for a couple years in QMJHL. Wonder if there's still some residual frustration from those days.

Even so Duclair has been atrocious and is being a baby for being called out for his awful play. Both things are true.

Not many jobs out there that you can get paid millions for and still be a failure without getting fired.
