Not a fan of this at all, so it’s most definitely coming to the NHL.

I wonder if that means Jersey jersey will be worn only on the road or a new white version of it?

They'd probably just have the road team wear white for those games. Although the change probably wouldn't happen until 2026-27 anyway, so we might not even have those jerseys anymore by then. I'd rather just bring these back anyway...I wonder if that means Jersey jersey will be worn only on the road or a new white version of it?

The first piece of gear I got after becoming a Devils fan was a River Rats t-shirtI stand by mine and a lot of other people's theory about when the Devils came back to Albany last time. If they came back as the Rats they would still be here today. That was 15 years and a new team ago and both hockey and non hockey fans still talk about how much fun they use to have going to River Rats games. Too much of a blender of die hard Sabres, Rangers and possibly Islanders (not sure if the last one is true, but I feel like they just gotta have some fans that live more than 30 miles from their stadium) to have and cheer for "The Devils."
River Rats were Albany's team, their parent team didn't matter, hell, for a lot of people the sport they played barely mattered. Was always just a great time.
