Around the NHL 2024-2025

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
What a story they have been with the Gaudreau tragedy hanging over the season. Impossible not to pull for them a bit.
I would love to see them win a few rounds
about 10 years ago, we had a box of Columbus hats accidently dropped off at work with no paperwork or anything to identify where it was supposed to go, so I have a Columbus hat that I will wear if they make it
and the cannon is super cool, too

They had a huge game against the Rangers a couple days ago that they lost which may come back to bite them. But I'd also love to see them get in with everything they've gone through as a team after after the loss of Gaudreau over the summer.
Makes me smile to see that team pull together. They’re only a -5 in goals, but that NYR game might hurt.

I hope they brushed it off already and focus on team D cuz they have plenty offensive depth.

I am absolutely not trying to say what happened was a good thing because it was tragic and heart breaking but if that team is able to overcome it and make the playoffs that's the kind of adversity that builds a special kind of culture and that city and team desperately need it. I wish the best for them and their fans.

I honestly feel bad laughing at the sabres at this point. It would be cool to see that franchise find success…looking like that may take a long time tho.
Definitely feel for their fans, it has been such a long time since they have had any joy with that franchise. Hopefully they get their stuff figured out at some point but it feels like they just can't get anything right.

Sens are backing their way into the playoffs. Not good.
Jackets are absolutely spiraling at the moment. They might be toast with the Islanders and Habs recent push. For whatever reason I enjoy seeing Ottawa get in the playoffs. (probably because it doesn't happen often)Those mid 2000 teams with Alfredsson, Heatley and Spezza were fun to watch.

In a league with as much forced parity as the NHL and one in which half the league makes it, the Sabres playoff drought is one of the more remarkable streaks going. Basically impossible to be that futile for that long in this league.

And Hossa and Bonk
Arvedsson. For a while Havlat looked like he was gonna be a superstar.
