What's your point? Johnathan Cheechoo scored 40 playing with Thornton, was he one of the best players in the league?

Hyman is a very good player but who knows how many other players could also score 50 playing with McDavid. Lists like these always trend towards guys who play on top, high-profile teams. That's just how it works.

The new logo update is fantastic. They did a great job updating their inaugural logo. The unis...that's just too much orange, especially on the home set. They look like traffic cones which, given their defensive performance over the past few seasons, they should probably avoid as part of their identity.

Just go back to the teal and eggplant. It's what the people want.

Colorado getting thrashed to start this season makes me almost as happy as the Blues winning. It's been a pleasure to see.

Interviewer asks if last season was tough to watch, the first and thankfully only season they went independent in which they finished with 60 pts and a league worst 23 wins. Owner Don Levin pivots to rip into the roster Carolina provided the year before in which they finished a respectable 78 pts in 72 games.

They and the Canes rejoined forces (probably reluctantly) again this summer. So what’s Levin do? Says he’s concerned about this season, completely rips into analytics. New Canes GM Eric Tulsky is known for his analytics background…

He also rips into his players from last season. Says some of them must’ve retired and not told him.
