Yeah I read the NHL.com article talking about that too. As long as it was temporary, its at least understandable in their situation. I guess, it could make for a cool built in retro jersey for after coming up with the actual nickname.

Agreed. Look at Major Leagure Soccer they got cringe names like Los Angeles Football Club and Toronto Football Club, their trying to copy British soccer team name styles and it comes off as cheap instead of coming up with a real name.
