Dan Girardi is the only ex-Ranger out there that I really get happy for when he does well. No bad wishes for any of the others, regardless of how/why they left. They just don't matter to me.

I hate the Penguins unreservedly along with the Caps, the Devils, the Islanders, the Flyers and Nashville's kind of fit in there this year too. Tampa I just don't like--it ain't at the level of hate.

But to Hagelin--it was maybe the only good thing coming out of their winning the Cup. I've always liked Hagelin but he's won two Cups now. That's enough.

As for Nash I'm just not a fan. I would have traded him at least two years ago.

I'm always up for the annual one-upping of the Caps Shakespearean defeats, but I don't have that vibe with this years Capitals (at least in this series), but that could just be the new wrinkle they add to their eventual demise at the hand of the Penguins
