Both games so far have yielded less-than-desirable results.

Eh, I have Montreal in my bracket, and I hate the love Columbus gets by virtue of the fact they are the "underdog". Not to mention I hate Dubinsky's stupid face.

Saw this on twitter

I think I get why the Wings won a lot. Would you like to see that face?

For anyone who follows Dallas a bit, has Goligoski started winning people over a bit? I remember the Stars catching some heat for dealing Neal - especially since Neal found some insta-chemistry in Pit - but these past two seasons Goligoski has put up some nice numbers.

At least Columbus spent half the game throwing their bodies at Pittsburgh.

And they let Pittsburgh take control when they got gun shy in the third. If Columbus can stay aggressive, and avoid stupid penalties, I think they could give the Pens a nasty series.

From what I understand from occasionally reading up on Stars, he is a double edged sword, kinda like Rafalski on his bad nights/ towards the end of his career. Obvious offensive upside results in chances and good transition, but bad decision making happens too often for some fans to be anything more than content with him. I think he often compounds mistakes/ turnovers, too, and it isn't like he has the size to just muscle opposing players off of the puck.

I just watched the highlights. A lot of goals in all 3 games 7, 7, 9.
It was a lot of speed and a lot of counerattack.
You watch these highlights and think of Cleary, Bertuzzi and Samuelsson. They Are like snails compared to those 3 games.

Well they traded Niskanen and Neal for goligoski, so they deserve a ton of hear.

Niskanen, alone, outperformed Goligoski this year. Then throw in Neal on top of that, and you have one of the most lopsided trades that I can remember.

Niskanen won me over last night. His poise with the puck was amazing, especially after watching Letang boot it over and over.

he's brutal. soft, meh skater, passing ability is meh, prone to brutal mistakes on d zone both on coverage and turnovers, shot is meh, can't hold the line..

improved second half though. bottom pairing guy on a good team. if that.

i'm sure benchy could make some nice rants on him.

Definitely has more than a "meh shot"

He has a better slapper than the majority of the defenseman on our team. And pretty easily.

I think the scores reflected players adjusting to the pace of the playoffs combined with inexperienced teams.
