Around the NHL — Episode XLXVII

I have the Oilers winning the cup. They are just playing at another level. It helps that you have two of the best players in the world on the same line.

Spoken like someone who didn’t watch the game.
Spoken like a closet leafs fan.

I watched the game, the refs were about as bad as I've seen, they made terrible calls on both sides, that one just happened to be the most egregious. The fact that you're unable to recognize that says everything.

Did anyone post this yet? Great lesson for the young Ottawa Senators to not fall into a similar pattern as the Canucks. Feel for JT Miller, I actually think we need Giroux around for this reason as well (I.e. hold ppl accountable for not coming in shape given he doesn’t have many years remaining to win a cup)

I think Toronto is going to the Cup finals. I don't think that they will win but they will definitely beat the Hurricanes or Capitals and it is looking like they are going to sweep the Panthers.

People are really overlooking the Caps for some reason.

Really starting to dislike the Panthers.

Habs don't make the playoffs without sweeping them in their season series and the effort they are putting up against the Leafs is pitiful.

Also so many unlikable dirty players on that team. Hard to cheer for them.

Quite easy considering their opponent. In fact, I'm a bandwagon fan of any team the Leafs play in the playoffs.

I haven't been watching them but weren't they outshot 3-1 in the first game against Carolina?

It was a bad game but they had a good bounce back.

I just think it's odd that the team who comfortably won the conference seems to be a bit of an afterthought this post season. More than a few people picked the Habs to beat them too
