I hadn't seen that Laughton hit on Rodrigues until now at the intermission. They called that a dive? That's wild.

The Leafs are good enough without getting the benefit of calls like that.

Omg, the HNIC crew spent the first intermission responding to Woll’s blatant dive with a montage of Bobrovski getting sat on in his crease, and Hrudey says ‘if Bonrovsky is diving, he’s very good at it.”

Really the only Leafs hate I feel is because of the overt homerism masquerading as expert testimony.

I’m convinced they must have got the wrong number/guy, because he gets crunched from behind, goes down for like 3 seconds, slowly up and straight to the dressing room. No idea how they saw anything embellishing there

At least they were all in agreement that the Rodrigues dive was a terrible call.

How badly have you f***ed up when the Sportsnet panel are saying a call in favour of the Leafs was wrong?

True. They also showed some skepticism over the interference call on Brady in game 6. I was stunned.

They're better than us in certain ways, being able to dump and chase like demons, and better defensive structure. They're slower than us, though, and somehow even worse in controlled entries. I do think their playstyle and lack of assets means they're going to be on the downswing sooner than later.

Experience is their biggest differentiator.

I don’t know when or if Matthews will f***ing wake up at some point this year
 
At least on paper, this is the best team the Leafs have had in the Matthews-era, plus there's no real "super-teams" this year as competition. Sucks to say, but Leafs got a shot at the Cup this year,
