Around the NHL — Episode XLXVII

6 years with the Habs, seems he was let go once Hughes shuffled the deck

Would be a nice injection to the amateur room, though I'm not sure where else he would fit outside an amateur scout
You could put him almost anywhere.

When Andlauer took over there was a lot of talk about the Sens building out their front office but it never really happened. Many teams have 3+ AGM's while the Sens have only one. Multiple senior advisors and consultants are common. Assistant directors of player personnel, etc.

Teams with money and will are always looking to add good people.

Front office has grown and will continue to grow.

It has? How?

We had PD, Trent Mann, Bowness. Now its Staios, Poulin and Bowness. We fired the previous head pro scout and hired Dimaio as director of player personnel/pro scotuing, so its a wash.

I guess we added a full time analytics guy? Not sure what else i’m missing.

No idea what this guy contributed all season with Hammer still playing though.

There is more than that.

There is more staff supporting the leadership and the GM no longer has any role on the business side.

I don’t count hiring a few executive assistants as growing the front office personally.

Jets getting goalied by Binnington.

Not time to hit the panic button yet but if they let the Blues tie this series they are in trouble.

Hellybuck is so confusing
You see you can't rely solely on goaltending to win in the playoffs, you need to score goals. St-Louis Blues are scoring goals, You need both timely saves and timely goals you put both together and you have success.

lol all that money for helleybuck and for what
He pretty much guarantees playoffs every year. The Jets issues go deeper than just Hellybuck. When they are on the road their D outside of Morrissey get exposed without last change.

5 goals on 22 shots. D have to give up less than that ?

Devils run F. Anderson. No penalty and they score on thee cold kochetkov almost right away.

These fans are obnoxious.

Go canes

Crazy to think the Blues actually look like the most likely winner in that series now. Jets core needs to get it together fast or it'll be another quick exit after being heavy Cup favorites.
