I can't stand the Canadiens winning, but as a devoted member of HFSens I am happy for all the Canadiens fans here.
Didn't make enough key saves but not much he could have done on the goals, they were gift wrapped or pretty nice plays from the Leafs
Stolarz faced some high danger shots and made the key saves when needed, the 8.25 million dollar man didn’t. That was the difference.Didn't make enough key saves but not much he could have done on the goals, they were gift wrapped or pretty nice plays from the Leafs
Montembeault keep them in it in the first 30, and as the game went on, the inexperienced Habs got more comfortable. Good for them.
Would have been nice if Ullmark had done that.

Thompson is flopping all around like a fish out of water!!!
If you want to win, especially as the big underdog, your goalie needs to make saves on pretty nice plays.
That OEL goal, early in the game, we need him to stop. It wasn’t Matthews bearing down on him. It was a guy with 4 goals this year.
We should of finished 8th, Washington are frauds

You will never beat a higher skilled team in the playoffs without your goalie being a big part of it.
I would take Washington over the Leafs any day.Yes that would have been an important key save but it was also right from the slot on a pretty nice set up play. Not much he could have done on other goals, that one was probably the easiest to stop lol. End result, we got beat very easily
Caps have a pretty good team on paper. They have 2 key injuries too, Protas and Fehervary
IMO we got the 2nd easiest team of the Top-6 (after Devils with Jack Hughes injury)
