Hartman got crosschecked, rode up into his face similar to the Grieg play, no call. Along with many other infractions. Such a different standard.
Completely different standard and it made for a much more enjoyable hockey game to watch.
If the refs called whistles in every series the way game one of BoO was, the physical element is going to decrease.
Which I'm fine with, I love high skilled based hockey, but we all know the reffing won't be consistent.

Have no idea (I do, Russia) how Dorofeyev slid all the way to the 3rd in 2019.
He was one of the guys I wanted at 19, he was a top 10 talent in the draft, and that was apparent at the time.
We need, NEED, to get shoes on the ground in Russia.

No question Rank is not a leafs fan. I don't know about the other guy. Rank will lean towards the leafs like he did last night.

Damn I wish we had that but at the same time, if it is to draft Tyler Bouchers, Ben Rogers and Gabriel Eliassons, then what's the point?
He's another Marchenko in the making (although they're the same age)... but the draft before from the 2nd round
There's also Danila Yurov I'm keeping an eye on for when he comes over. Although he was a 1st round pick (24th OA)

I didn't know he was hyped? He's similar to Kleven but should be a bit better.

I wonder if they’re gonna move Quinn this summer if they don’t think he’ll stay.
There’s really nothing the Canucks can offer for Luke or Jack so it makes no sense. Rutherford is either totally senile or planting the seed to prep for the move.
Then again I can’t imagine they won’t want to give it at least another shot this season, so maybe this is more a factor next year.
