I wouldn't say it is make or break, exactly.

If they go to an extreme in either way, it could have a significant impact, but if they can tread water, even gain some lower points, they have a more favourable schedule to finish to the season.

It doesn't have the feel of them falling apart, and that win in Raleigh, plus pulling out a W against the Pens should provide some good vibes out West.

I can see Ullmarks leadership (and ability) being a game changer this time, too.

All good points….

Ah that’s adorable - I don’t believe you but chin up kiddo - I just want to make sure you don’t worry or lose heart, there will be plenty of moments still to come in the season where you can roll in with your delightfully unique blend of doom, gloom, pervasive negativity and gaslighting.

Whatever…. I don’t believe you either buddy boy.

I am prepared for meaningful And meaningless games this March… while I’m golfing in Florida

After lucking into Gretzky, they lucked into McDrai. Can't think of a franchise that has been so lucky aside from EDM and Pittsburgh. Hope McDrai don't ever win a cup in EDM, but somewhere else.
Quebec/Colorado is the luckiest.

Ottawa
I personally cursed the Oilers in 2012 with The Curse of 3 First Overalls in a row. They won't win the Cup while RNH is still on the team. Sorry.

Rangers are in big trouble... they might just clean house...

They have a lot of guys underperforming right now.

Trochek, Zibanejad, Lafreniere, Kreider and Chytil could all give more than they’ve been giving. These guys will start clicking at some point, or at least some of them.

Panarin is out right now and so is Miller so it doesn’t look pretty.

I think they’ll give us a good run for our money for a wildcard spot. They’ve been playing really bad but at some point they’ll go back to the mean. Not as good as people thought but they’re still a decent team.

Is Mika starting to slow down?
