I will buy a Rantanen Dallas Stars jersey if they take down Edmonton and Toronto.The Oilers look like the team to beat this year and I wonder how some Cancun fans would feel with an Oiler Leafs SC finals eh?

I think this Tweet sums up enough of his involvement to make my skin crawl.
While I do think Beach's feelings are of significant importance, I also feel like it's a bit of a cop out for the league. I can't imagine that's exactly a pressure-free situation for Beach to have the NHL call him up to seek his permission to hire people for prominent roles. What if he says no? What if that leaks? What if people attack him for it? I don't think it's a fair situation to put a victim in, and it's something that's been held up as a paper shield for both Stan Bowman and Joel Quenneville now - the two men who, arguably, had the most power to step in and protect Beach when this was happening and failed to do so. And their silence also lead to their being more victims. Were they consulted about this?
Again - I fully respect Kyle Beach's feelings and opinions. But it just feels wrong that they even go to him to ask. It shouldn't even be a question.
EDIT: Also, the whole report on the situation is available online, with "what the Blackhawks knew" beginning on Pg. 38: https://www.jenner.com/a/web/8kmbgF...icago-blackhawks-hockey-team-october-2021.pdf
She later went on to say she wasn’t physically stopped.
Guess this partially answers my question of whether any other victims were consulted;
She later went on to say she wasn’t physically stopped.
This line of thinking is pretty gross dude.She later went on to say she wasn’t physically stopped.
I’m literally just reporting what’s been in court.Oh in that case...
Ask your female friends how many have walked home to their car or anywhere really with their keys between their fingers.
You don't need be physically stopped to feel threatened pressured or anything like that.
Im just adding what she said in court.This line of thinking is pretty gross dude.
Wasn’t it found that he didn’t handle it adequately ? And wasn’t Bowman the one who swept everything under the rug ?Anyone defending the hiring of Q is an immediate red flag.

It's one thing for the league to re-instate the guy, I don't necessarily agree or disagree with it, I don't know enough about JQ's involvement in the events...but why would a team bring in a guy with this kind of baggage? You're inviting someone with a sketchy past where he, at worst protected a sexual predator, and at best turned a blind eye to it...these are breaches of trust with a player. How do you expect players to trust and go to war with you after this? Would the players and staff have any respect for the guy? Would they work for him without any underlying resentments or...

Both Bowman and Quenneville failed repeatedly. I think there's a really strong argument to be made that Quenneville's positive reference for Aldrich is what allowed him to go and coach at a school and subsequently victimize a child, which is pretty f***ing insidious. I'm of the opinion that neither of them should be allowed back into the league.
It’s mind boggling that Bowman got a job agian. That opened the door for Quenvilelle, it’s one thing if they didn’t know but f*** off they did and it’s been proven.It's one thing for the league to re-instate the guy, I don't necessarily agree or disagree with it, I don't know enough about JQ's involvement in the events...but why would a team bring in a guy with this kind of baggage? I was absolutely livid when Bowman got allowed back in. And as usual, his way was paved by professional NHL bootlickers like Frank Seravalli. All the same "NHL Insiders" who have gone absolutely and completely silent with respect to the situation in Chicago other than to say Anaheim and Quenneville have "put in the work". Not coincidentally, the same people are all completely silent about the other John Doe's case against the Blackhawks/the league, and about the ongoing sexual assault trial involving 5 professional/former professional hockey players.
Best sport, worst league. Guys like Quenneville and Bowman shouldn't be allowed near the god damned game. It's just gross.
I hope Anaheim is in the basement for the next decade. f***ing gross.
