I don’t have a problem with teams using non-pluralized names. That being said, all other ones sound nice phonetically. Utah Mammoth does not sound right and should be pluralized.

That's the only thing I dislike about the team name and it really is a nitpick on my part, it's that I don't think the team name has a cool sound bite to it.

A team that does have a nice sound would be Colorado Avalanche, it just sounds...right, and sounds powerful. When the fans scream "Let's go Avs!" or "Let's go Avalanche!" it feels cooler than "Let's go Mammoths!"

Nonetheless, I dig the name Utah Mammoth(s), and I like the logo a lot.

It's clear that after a couple of games where he maybe felt odd playing the Avs in the playoffs, Rantanen lit a fire under himself to prove a point. In game 7, when he scored the 2-2 tying goal he went by the Avs bench and said something to the effect of "f*** you Colorado". He's on an absolute mission right now. It's fun to watch talents like McDrai, Rantanen, Nylander etc just step it up to this level. As much as it pains me to say that....

Also, Benn needs to retire. He is in no way able to keep up to the playoff pace.

bro... last year, the plan was to sign Tanev and Jake Guentzel. I truly believe based on EVERYTHING I read that, those were are main targets, but unfortuanely both of them got traded before july 1st and was signed. Finally we would have had Guentzel with Petey, Tanev in our top 4, and a quick turn around, and contend again, but man... things have gone so bad, i'm really sad, so close to being a contender yet so far suddenly. I really wish Jt Miller didn't sabotage this movement.

Trading a player like Rantanen over 500k/year is a Jim Benning type of blunder. Add insult to injury they traded him for a soft playoff ghost that they'll have to overpay for next year since they can't let him walk.

From what I've read so far, the defense still hasn't contested the allegations that she was physically threatened with objects and prevented from leaving. That's literally the premise that would make the scenario a sexual assault. I'd be in fact worried for them that the line of questioning has been "well why didn't you reach for your phone for help" and "you looked like you were doing fine" because if that premise isn't going to be challenged, then even misidentifying who stayed in the room is beyond the point (i.e. for the police and courts to fix, not the victim).
