Hate the Leafs, but the Panthers just can't help themselves with their shenanigans. Can both teams be DQ'ed and the Canes-Caps series be considered the ECF?

I can't cheer for Toronto. The insufferable 'Canada's Team' nonsense and the dickriding the media would be doing from now until I die would be intolerable.

If Utah had reeled us in, I'm not convinced there would have been a chance in the world that the Canucks would have moved from 14th to 4th overall in this draft.

Let's face it. When it comes to the drop of the lottery balls, this franchise is cursed. Vancouver entered the league the same year as Buffalo--and how many times have they drafted first overall?

in Vancouver--not a single time. And doubt it ever happens in my life-time.

Cue Wetcoaster's WheelOfMisfortune.txt copy pasta.

Just crazy that Bennet gets away once again with another head shot taking a player out of a playoff game. I guess we fans will support whatever the players do as long as they win, but injuring the other team with dirty head shots on your way to a cup final is something else. What a freaking turd. Like Wilson. It's not like players like this don't impact the game already with their physicality, so there's no need to be dishing out cheap shots.

Hope dickhead is suspended for multiple games.

After the final whistle Marner has his back turned to Matthew Tkachuk who then proceeds to cross check him in the back. What a sore loser.

Dirty player. Say what you want about this team, I'm so glad I don't have to embarrass myself the way Panthers fans do trying to defend this kind of behaviour. At the end of the day, hockey is just a game/sport. Doing dirty, loser shit like this which can affect more than just the game at hand - can easily cause a hyperextended knee, which often does result in further ligament damage in the knee.

Lol i could have hit him harder with a pillow. Stolarz is too soft for the game if that dropped him.

I'd love Benny in Gangcouver. And Wilson for that matter. I guess a lot of milquetoasts would rather send the league an email instead of breaking a fingernail in any sort of altercation.

Tkachuk and Bennett are dirty af.

Sure would love them on the canucks...(one should be a canuck).

Has TO issued an official diagnosis yet?
Given they didn't say he had the flu and instead was "still undergoing evaluation" after puking it would be very shocking if he wasn't in concussion protocol.

Good chance it was a combo thing. Hit with a puck then jostled a couple times again. Our beer league goalie had to retire from playing last year after taking a shot to the helmet and getting concussed.

Bennett contact may not have been much but it was also deliberate so dirty nonetheless. Just not a play you'd expect a bad outcome from. But brains are weird. One too many collisions with the inside of the skull can be a problem even if it's "light".

edit: he was taken to the ER on a stretcher which is what should be done after puking multiple times from an head injury. At the very least this is Woll's team for the next few games. They will need to work with him the next couple of days to get him off the goal line.

I'm conflicted when it comes to Toronto because I actually really like their team. I just hate their fanbase and media.
Same. I get through the confusion in my head by simply focusing on one thing if the astounding happens:

Sure will be nice to see Tanev lift the cup over his head.

That said I think they have a long ways to go and there are some gaps in their team. If they can withstand the bullying of the Panthers then they are on to something.
