Well your username covers both of these pretty nicely.Ffs I can't support buttmans usa teams hate shitcoils so now I have to be a leaferi need better drugs lol
Alright, everyone on board the Jets bandwagon. We may need them to eventually take down the Oilers.
I missed the winning goal, but I'm sure glad I saw the tying goal. That has to be the single most clutch last minute goal in playoffs history. I thought Boeser's last year was something...that we may truly never see again.
Just played 96 minutes in game 7. Need to recharge and be ready to go again on Tuesday. All others begin either Monday or Tuesday so no rest for the jets. They pushed through which is mighty impressive, but Hellebuyck is not instilling much confidence. The label or choker is still hovering above his head.
If he plays like this against EDM, WPG has f*** all chance.

Shades of the Nash game we had last year.
Just how it goes. Jets played opening night of PO and are the last to clinch in RD1And this is just the beginning, things will only get harder.
Hopefully they will get to let their bodies get some much needed respite.
“didn’t have his best series”
translation: lost his job to cory schneider and only got it back because schnei shredded his groin on a can-opener penalty shot, a potential deciding game that luongo then proceeded to lose in OT.
memories
Your memory is hazy, Schneider got cramps in game 6 from anxiety and admitted as such in 2013, his groin was fine.
i always assumed schneider's “dehydration" and “cramps" was like saying upper body injury when a guy gets his bell rung.
when a guy does the splits like that and then doesn’t get up...

If we knew now what we did about goaltending in 2011, Schneider would’ve started game 5 and started a game against Nashville, San Jose, and Boston too - they wouldn’t have waited until 6.
Even then Lu against Chicago still blew what Helly did out of the water this series thanks to a few brilliant games. One guy put up a 90.2 save percentage, the other 83. If Connor locked in for even one game like Lu did, this series would’ve been over a lot sooner.
I'm a chocker. Picked Avs and Jets and 0 for 2 game 7s.
They're playing Dallas -- which is good, because I give Vegas a much better chance of beating Edmonton. If he plays like this against EDM, WPG has f*** all chance.
I remember an ex-Canuck saying they got ravaged by the flu before Game 4 in 2011. It just seems to align with the team randomly dropping off and looking so lethargic for a few games. While normally fair and a good assumption, it was Schneider himself who admitted it was anxiety in an interview with Botchford 2 years after the fact.
Heiskanen and Robertson are expected back sometime in this series. Not sure on the Jets players.i haven’t been following super closely
are morrissey, scheifele, heiskanen, and robertson expected to play next round? at full strength that series could be the real SCF
This ain’t your daddy’s NHL anymore and no lead is safe. We saw it all year in the regular season and now in the postseason. You sit back and try to hold a lead and it’s almost a guarantee that it will be in the back of your net within 5 minutes of play time. Crazy but highly entertainingOK that was two days two games in a row I was screaming at the TV in excitement in two games not involving the Canucks or my hostility of Edmonton/Toronto. Those Dallas and Winnipeg come from behind game 7s were so f***ing entertaining. Each of them seemed so historical and insane the way they ended. So f***ing crazily entertaining my goodness
Man I love this sport![]()
Pretty thin Team Canada going to the WHC. But I did a double take at Ty Ronning - he had a bonkers, ridiculous season in Germany. Dwarfed his totals from last season.
