It's funny seeing how far down the list Brown was in scoring throughout the NHL. Among all forwards, he was ranked 211th. These guys had as many points as Brown: Dominic Moore, Matt Nieto, Nick Spaling, David Legwand, Tomas Fleischmann, Shawn Matthias, Lars Eller.

Yet none of them make close to $6M like Brown does. Barf.

I thoroughly enjoy the way the Blackhawks play the game.

I am hoping for a Chicago / Tampa Bay SCF. It would also mean that the fans around the NHL will flip out when Chicago wins the cup this season and the Kings come back and win it in 2016.

What are we gonna always jump to giant conclusions regarding birth country? I was simply stating I remember what happened the last time a hyped player came from the KHL. All these guys get so hyped up before they've even played one NHL game. Just like draft picks.

LOL Tampa's defense during the final 5 seconds. 3 guys go towards one guy leaving a wide open Helm who went full Trevor Lewis and missed wide.

And only 1 shot on goal that period, and it came shorthanded. Tampa's gone full NYI in this game.

I can't tell Stamkos from Lewis. I shudder to think of what would have happened to our franchise with Stamkos instead of Doughty.

The Kings probably wouldn't be able to land a #1 dman like Doughty. I can't think of the last time a defenseman of his caliber bolted as a free agent or was dealt. Probably Scott Niedermayer when he left the Devils to sign with the Ducks.

Remember that guy a few years ago that was hyped to moon who signed with Dallas and never did jack? Can't remember his name but he ended up bouncing around a bunch of teams and was never heard from again.
