f***ed up the trade of a major asset at the deadline and cost himself a #1 pick!

f***ed up a major trade and wasted two prime young assets for a horrific player!

f***ed up a top-5 pick and cost himself arguably the best young power forward in the NHL!

f***ed up free agency and saddled the team with one of the worst contracts in the NHL!

Like, it’s truly amazing. Hit for the sh!tty GM cycle there basically.

That one offseason would be ground for firing even if he’d been decent otherwise, which of course he hasn’t. And nothing he did there was the fault of Gillis or ownership. It was 100% pure Dim Jim.

Not quite.

Reinhart trade happened in the 2015 summer, while the Lucic signing happened in the 2016 summer.

In the 2015 draft Milan Lucic was traded to LA, there’s reports that the Canucks offered their 1st pick + for him. Imagine if we had dealt Brock Boeser for Milan Lucic.

Also were reports that the teams offered Horvat, Tanev and the 5th for PK Subban.
