Again, puck somehow doesn't go in for Dallas, and goes the other way and in the back of the net.

Bounces going their way but Oettinger is just not making the saves. A sub .880SV% this series. You are not going to win many series with medicore stats like that.

Dallas not upgrading on Ceci and continuing to plod out Jamie Benn is also a mystery.

He played his heart out. No wonder why he lost it on Pettersson coming into camp out of shape. Dude’s got only so many chances left to win and he sees this guy who just got overpaid big time coming off a disappearing act in the playoffs.
great heart and soul guy that clearly quit on the team and his play showed it.

Their RHD are Dumba, Lybushkin, Petrovic and Ceci.

Any yet we have posters on this very forum saying we should trade Filip Hronek.

Was there much of a Dman market this TDL? They shot their shot with Rant.

Necas -> Stank is actually a pretty big downgrade.

Stank may pay off down the road and is a lot of talent for his salary but it's supposed to be the Canes' window now. Meanwhile the Canes have $30m in cap space and nobody to spend it on.
I think people think this because they’ve been competitive for so long but they are the youngest team in the final four.

Jake Walman was available from the same team they got Ceci from. Like I know he's not a RHD but he's been huge for Edmonton.
The also got Granlund in the deal and he's been good for them too. Every team is going to have a hole with the salary cap.

This is Edmonton’s year. They will likely be cup contenders for the next 5 years while McDavid and Drai are on that team.

It's the Panthers in four; and the Oilers in five; for a 'rinse and repeat' Stanley Cup Final.

The 'inconvenient truth' is that neither Dallas nor Carolina are close to being the teams they were a year ago.

great product gary

Florida will beat Carolina but this Oilers series is far from over. Dallas was the better team today. Penalties and bounces went the Oilers way. Dallas has proven they can come back.
